Late Fee and Disconnects update for COVID-19

Disconnections and Late Fee Notice for April 2020.

We have been monitoring COVID-19 and its impact on the economy and have voluntarily extended the suspension of late fees and disconnections for the month of April 2020.

The decision for an extension was decided upon by the Board of Commissioners to help lessen the impact on our customers that may be temporarily unemployed and struggling through the hardships that COVID-19 has brought on our community.

To our customer's that this applies to, who are two-three months late, the full amount will be due by May 10, 2020, and you will be required to pay the full amount due on your account at that time.

To ease the hardship of having a large water bill in May, we strongly suggest that you attempt to make some type of payment toward your account to keep from being disconnected in May.

You can still come pay at our Drive-Thru, on our website: www.waterworks2bp.org,, online at Softtelpay.com or by phone at 1-855-483-5729.

You will need the ID code# 7066011 and your account number to pay online or by phone. If you do not know your account number, please call our office at 337-462-6805 and we will be glad to supply you with that information and it would be a great time for you to update your account with any pertinent information at that time.

As of today, April 16, 2020, we have 102 customer's on our disconnect list for non-payment.
